Art school dropouts, Willy and Milo, find themselves struggling to make ends meet let alone make art. After a failed attempt at launching a T-Shirt business and an unexpected questioning from the cops, the boys find themselves following the gonzo orders of a mysterious artist, Paul a.k.a "The Prophet", who in return houses the duo and provides them with art supplies, cash, and plenty of drugs. Inspired by the rebellious group of Post-Impressionist Avant-Garde artists known as “Les Nabis”, ADVANCE GUARD is a gritty satire on the status quo in the art world and asks the timeless question: “how far will you go for your art?”
